The Canaan Mountain Villa is situated in
the ecological scenic area with primeval forest of second
growth, in La-Ba-Gou-Men Village, Huai-Rou District, at the
north end of Beijing, 160 kilometers away from the
metropolitan area. In the scenic area lies a valley of
extrusive rocks formed 1 billion years ago. Due to the high
altitude and intensifying melting, the internal and external
forces shaped rocks into various forms of peaks, hills,
columns and balls, producing a rare geological landscape.
The valley is enriched with white birches, Mongolian pine
trees, bushes, herb pads, bryophyte and etc, which together
produce a most natural oxygen reservoir, and maintain the
first-rate air quality all the year around. Over 300 kinds
of wild animals inhabit this area forming dynamic and static
natural pictures. The whole area is first open to the
outside with the Canaan Mountain Villa’s trial business on
April 1, 2008.
